2 cups basil leaves
3 tablespoons pine nuts or other nuts like walnuts
3-4 garlic cloves
2 tablespoons lemon juice(about half a lemon)
3-4 tablespoons nutritional yeast or vegan shredded parm
3 tablespoons olive oil

Blend everything in a food processor except the oil.
Scrape down the sides and while running slowly add in the oil. If too thick add more oil to desired consistency.
Season to taste with salt and pepper.
If you want it more garlicky, cheesy, or citrusy — add more of those ingredients,

Lasts 1 week in fridge but can be stored frozen.
